Alpha Lipoic Acid / Thioctic Acid (250mg) Description
Alpha-lipoic acid has been dubbed the "universal antioxidant" because
it is both water- and fat-soluble. It can access tissues composed
mainly of fat, such as the nervous system, as well as those made mainly
of water, such as the major organs and protect them from oxidative or
free-radical damage.
Alpha-lipoic acid helps vitamin E, vitamin C, and glutathione to be utilised, as well as helping the B vitamins convert proteins, carbohydrates, and fats into energy.
