Alpha Biotika (liquid pro-biotic) Description
Recent tests have indicated that Alpha Biotika may facilitate a faster recovery from many illnesses. After a period of approximately 30 days consumption, the formula creates a greatly improved milieu in the intestinal tract for nutrients to be absorbed and distributed throughout the body.
A living pro-biotic drink of organic, fermented, lactic acid cultures and herbs, Alpha Biotika is taken as a natural drink in quantities from a teaspoonful up to 100 ml. Usually 10 - 20ml are recommended, one to three times daily.
Most people will benefit from taking it with meals. However, it can also be taken between meals. Drink either undiluted or mixed with water as a juice. Normal maintenance dosage is 10 ml twice a day before meals. For acute cases this may be increased to 25 ml three times daily. For children over 1 year old, a daily dose of 5 to 10 ml is recommended.
Alpha Biotika is a mixture of aromatic herbs and other plants, which are fermented by a special combination of lactic acid and yeast cultures. Lactic acid bacteria are a group of related bacteria that produce lactic acid as a result of carbohydrate fermentation. The production of lactic acid gives a low pH value of about 3.5. The low pH prevents the development of harmful bacteria in the finished product. Alpha Biotika contains no sugar – as the lactic acid bacteria have fermented the sugar, making it suitable for diabetics.
Alpha Biotika is a live product, formed through a natural process, thus the colour and taste of Alpha Biotika varies from batch to batch. Alpha Biotika is still “alive” when bottled and will, like wine, alter its flavour with time and after the bottle has been opened. Alpha Biotika can produce carbon dioxide, causing an increased pressure in the bottle which will release when the lid is opened.
Storage and keeping qualities
Before opening there are no special requirements but we recommend that Alpha Biotika is stored in a dark place at a constant temperature.
The bottles may become pressurised at temperatures above 18C°. Alpha Biotika can be stored for a period of at least 12 months after production (see bottle label). After opening Alpha Biotika needs to be stored in a dark and cool place below 8C° otherwise white-yellow flakes can appear on the surface. They are not harmful and are easily removed. The storage period after opening is about 1 month. By rebottling Alpha Biotika into smaller bottles the keeping period is extended. Sediment can form at the bottom of the bottle which can gently be shaken up before use.
Alpha Biotika is available in 1 litre bottles.
Ingredients:
Water, herbal blend 1), sugarcane molasses, glucose, fructose and fermentation cultures 2).
Alpha Biotika gets its red-brown colour from the sugarcane molasses and has no added sweetener or colouring. Alpha Biotika contains no dairy components. Despite the name, lactic acid has nothing to do with milk. The added sugar transforms into lactic acid due to the lactic acid bacteria fermentation, making it a suitable product for diabetics.
