Lugol Solution (6mg/drop)

Lugol's iodine is a solution of iodine and potassium iodide. Each drop provides an estimated 4mg of potassium iodide and 2mg of iodine - drop size varies.

In women, iodine is concentrated in the thyroid and breasts. In men, there is also a concentration in the prostate. When insufficient iodine is available, the thyroid will take it from other body parts, leaving them vulnerable.

In animal studies where breast tumours are deliberately induced, it is first necessary to make these animals iodine deficient for the tumours to occur.

According to Dr Brownstein cell abnormalities, particularly in breast and prostate tissue, can only be rectified if sufficient iodine is made available.

Lugol’s Solution is a mixture of iodine and iodide – the two forms recommended by Dr. Brownstein and others as working synergistically to support all the tissues of the body.

There is now mounting evidence that even old scar tissue will diminish and regenerate, when iodine is applied topically.
