PABA 500mg Description
Some research suggestes that PABA may prevent or reverse the accummulation of abnormal fibrous tissue.
Para-aminobenzoic acid or PABA (or Vitamin Bx) is neither a vitamin nor an essential nutrient for humans. It is a non-protein amino acid that is widely distributed in nature.
The sulfonamide antibiotics are structurally similar to PABA and interfere with the synthesis of nucleic acids in sensitive micro-organisms. They do this by blocking the conversion of PABA to the co-enzyme dihydrofolic acid, a reduced form of folic acid. You obtain your dihydrofolic acid from dietary folic acid.
Advice:
Always consult your primary healthcare provider before adding supplements to your diet.
