Cardiovascular Health Improvements
Discovering your cardiovascular age (or that of your patients) is a vital clue that provides early warning of potential heart disease or stroke.
The primary chemicals in the body found responsible for improving your cardiovascular health are Nitric Oxide and anti-oxidents. How Does ProCardio Trace Work?
The ProCardio Trace sensor is simply clipped to the patient's finger and infrared light is passed through it. The technology automatically scans, collects and analyses the data from the sensor and determines the stiffness of a patient's artery from the amassed information.
ProCardio Trace will also log and store the patients BMI (obtained by placing data such as patient's height, sex, race, weight and age into the machine beforehand) their heart rate and blood speed (hence viscosity).
From the BMI, stffness index, heart rate and blood speed, ProCardio Trace will deternine and display your vascular age.
If your vascular age is above your actual age this is clearly an indication that you should take steps to reduce your risk of heart disease and stroke. There is however another way to work, and that is to simply lower your vascular age well below your actual age and thereby reduce what is seen as a primary indicator of possible heart disease or stroke in the future.
